CareerOneStop is a U.S. Department of Labor-sponsored Web site that offers career resources and workforce information to job seekers, students, businesses, and workforce professionals to foster talent development in a global economy.

One of the links at this site is called help a job seeker.”  Here you will find quite a number of resources; one in particular that appears to be very useful is the Find Employer Contact Information link. It’s a convenient way to identify local employers and develop an action plan to contact or research opportunities at these firms. (You may also want to refer to your LinkedIn network to see if you have any connections with these companies.)

CareerOneStop offers an array of tools and services, including job search action plans, that can help job seekers to get more organized and develop a job search schedule and action plan.
